When people review both the book and movie, they often refer to Tim as being a jock. This bugs me a little, since that’s only Ben’s first impression of him. No version of this story dwells much on his athletic side. Quick, without going back and checking, can you name Tim’s sport of choice? I do mention how he likes to jog a lot, but does that make him a jock? To me, Tim is first and foremost an artist. Judging from that painting of Ben, I’d say he’s a talented one too!
