Something Like Summer was originally a novel about Ben’s quest for love, and once it was written, I found myself wanting to explore the stories of the other characters we met along the way. Something Like Winter is about Tim’s life, for instance, and helps explain why he’s so flawed. Jace’s story, Something Like Autumn, presented the opposite problem. How did such a seemingly perfect guy become that way? If you want every single detail, you should pick up that book. I do intend to sprinkle the most important events of his life into this comic though, such as what we’ve done with this page. I hope you dig the film noir feel. What is it about monochrome that makes everything feel so dramatic? What are your thoughts on black and white movies, comics, etcetera? Do you like them, or is color a requirement to hold your attention?
